Conclusion

As you delve into the field of Instructional Design, you will become acquainted with many different learning theories.  At times, it can be overwhelming, but if you look at the practical applications of each theory, you will begin to see how essential learning theories are to the field.  Cognitive Learning Theory is one that has offered up many ideas of how to better your curriculum so that both instructors and students can get the most from your design.  While you will mostly take different concepts from a variety of theories once you're out in the field, I look forward to seeing your reflection piece and your opinion.
